Cortland firefighters extinguish a fire under a propane tank near a home 5400 block of east North Avenue, Cortland. The fire started about 4 p.m. and lasted nearly 20 minutes, with flames reaching 20 feet in the air. The fire did not cause any damage to the surrounding property, Cortland Patrol Officer Luis D’attomo said.
