Hiawatha senior Casey Martinez belts out lyrics to a song during a slow dance with her date Kyle Hines at the Hiawatha High School prom at Faranda's Banquet Center in DeKalb on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Martinez, who hasn't been able to live in her family's house in Fairdale since the April 9 tornado, said the whole day was such a relief not to have to think about the damage of the storm and being displaced for the last months of her senior year. The Hiawatha community rallied to have her prom dress repaired to get her ready for prom and she was crowned prom queen by her classmates.
