An excavator from Northern Illinois Service, Co. of Rockford, works clearing debris on the site of the Wendy's restaurant at 439 State St. in Sycamore during the demolition of the building on Friday, July 17, 2015. The charred building sat vacant for six months after a fire on Jan. 9 left it unrepairable.
