The snowflake on top of the Sycamore Library book tree was made out of book pages by adult services assistants Tammy Johnston last year during an art program at the library. Johnston said it took her and fellow adult services assistant Lee Ertner a few hours the day after Thanksgiving to plan and construct the tree after all the books had been collected.
