Sophie and "sister" BeBe, both adopted malteses from Northcentral Maltese Rescue, prepare to roll with owner Melanie Parks, of DeKalb, at the starting line of the 9th annual Tails Mutt Strut at Hopkins Park in DeKalb on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014. Over 250 human runners/walkers and 120 dogs participated in the 9th annual Tails Mutt Strut 5K which raises money for seven different area rescues.
