"Pita" is one of the animals that Kane County Associate Judge Elizabeth Flood ruled Thursday evening that can be returned to former owner Stacy Fiebelkorn.  Fiebelkorn, of Hampshire, was charged March 5 with cruelty to animals and neglect of an owner's duties.

Brown said that the young alpaca has started trying to nurse off of the older female but her milk has dried up because of malnourishment.

The Illinois Department of Public Health and the Envrionmental Protection Agency are investigating this tank and hose system that has been pumping sewage from the Cortland mobile home park onto the ground for weeks.
