Bette Stone was a housewife and was watching television with her children when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated 50 years ago. Stone shared her memories at the Senior Service Center in DeKalb on Wednesday afternoon. “The kids were in the living room watching Bozo. At 12:30 a newsflash came on and said he had been shot. I didn't leave the TV all afternoon.”
