Jeff Engelhardt – jengelhardt@shawmedia.com DeKALB – Four people, including two children, were taken to Kishwaukee Family Hospital Friday after sustaining injuries in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Barber Greene and Peace roads. A white Ford sedan headed north on Peace Road collided with a white Chrysler sedan turning left off Barber Greene Road to head south on Peace Road at approximately 1:49 p.m. Friday, said DeKalb County Sgt. Ryan Braden. Braden said the severity of the injuries are unknown and an investigation into the cause of the crash was ongoing. Sycamore and DeKalb fire departments offered assistance.
