The majority of the back of the car is a kennel for the dog, which has a spring-loaded door that can be opened remotely (center), a fan and climate controls for the dog's comfort (top left) and sits lower to the ground so the dog doesn't have to jump as far to get in and out. Sergeant Robert Smith currently drives the car and will be the handler for the department's next dog.
