Janisch presented a $7,000 grant that will go toward purchasing a SMART Board and SMART Table to the first-grade classes. The grant was given by the Monsanto Fund, the philanthropic branch of the Monsanto Company. Janisch said up to four students could work on the SMART Table at one time and it will give first-graders the opportunity to learn in a hands-on fashion.
