  • Ameti presented Freeman with a photo of University of Tetova founder Fadil Sulejmani at the opening of the exhibit. "The University of Tetova and the Struggle for Education Equity in the Republic of Macedonia" will run through May 11 at the Blackwell History of Education Museum located in Gabel Hall.
  • The early years of the University of Tetova were marked by demonstrations and protest and the first lecture was interrupted by police. It was recognized by the Macedonian government in 2004.
