Dennis Barsema, chairman of Northern Illinois University's Board of Trustees and NIU alum speaks Thursday during the unveiling and dedication ceremony of the new sculpture, Huskie Pride, in the Martin Luther King Jr. Commons at NIU. Barsema and his wife Stacey, of the NIU Foundation board of directors, made a $25,000 donation to commission the new sculpture.
