Johnna Jennings, 4-H educator and a parent of children who are members of the Green Meadows 4-H Club, said the kids did all the work on their float, which featured live farm animals. Green Meadows 4-H has been a part of the parade for many years.
“We’re all about community and teaching kids about belonging, independence, generosity and mastery, and this float is about getting them involved with the community,” Jennings said. “It shows the community the different things that 4-H does. The kids did a wonderful job with this.”
