Spring Bellows of Sycamore, 39, weighs shims used for construction spacing at the Opportunity House on Thursday, Sep. 7, 2017 in Sycamore. The Opportunity House recently consolidated its facility into one building and will hold an open house for the public on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. "it's much more spacious. It doesn't seem like you're bundled up in a small room all of the time and it's much safer, and it's much more handicapped accessable," Bellows said of the new space.
