Carolyn Vaughn of DeKalb stretches using a bench on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the DeKalb Nature Trail in DeKalb. "I guess they have their reasons," she said referencing the cutting down of trees along the trail, adding that "I like that they are looking for public input." Vaughn uses the trail every day for walking her dog, running, and socializing with other trail users.
