Egyptian Theatre Executive Director Alex Nerad points out one of the small rooms that contains some the existing duct work in the basement of the DeKalb landmark Friday. Much of the existing ventilation infrastructure can be used as part of a new air conditioning system if the theater is able to purchase one. A new HVAC system would allow the theater to stay open year round.
