Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital President Jay Anderson talks to a group of employees Wednesday that have gathered for a ceremony in front of the heart covered windows at the hospital in DeKalb. The hearts were placed there by staff almost a year ago to show support for each other during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will begin to come down now as employees are able to remove them as a sign of hope that we are emerging from the pandemic.
