Billy Faletti, a Meteorology major at Northern Illinois University from Granville, points out active areas on the radar display of the storm that spawned the Fairdale tornado on April 9, 2015. Faletti was talking Thursday in the meteorology lab in Davis Hall at NIU, about how to recognize severe weather and the proper ways to react to watches and warnings.
