Yvonne Johnson reacts to the remarks of her former fifth grade student (60 years ago), John Boyce, during a reception for Johnson at Kishwaukee College on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Johnson, a retired West Elementary School teacher, made an endowment to Kishwaukee College and their science program and in return, the college named their science wing after her: the Yvonne A. Johnson Science Wing.
